We realize that we are not the easiest business to find in Florence. Please understand that for the last 50 years we have been a business that had a very limited customer base and our intention was to remain a bit private. Now that we are Going Out of Business we are having difficulties accommodating the large numbers of people trying to get to us and find parking. Please forgive us! The effort of getting to us will be worth it!
We have two entrances, both of which have errors with many GPS navigation systems:
The easiest to find is on AL-20. The GPS address that works with Google Maps is 6000 AL-20, 35806. This entrance is ONE mile West on 20 from the end of Cox Creek Parkway. The driveway entrance is on the East side of 20 and the building is NOT visible from the highway. Look for the "Flying Carpet" sign and a sign for "Wood & Wool." If you see a sign for "Glendale Church of Christ" you have just passed us!
The other entrance is 8176 County Road 200, 35806. This is our original entrance, because AL-20 was not constructed when we built the building. As with the 20 entrance, if you see "Glendale Church of Christ" you have just passed us.
Parking is also an issue on crowded days like Saturday. Please remember we never expected to serve more than three cars at a time, so it may take some effort to find a place. You are welcome to call us (256.764.1852) and we can come help you park.
